Never buy anything from Distacart, it's a scam! I ordered on-line a can of paraffin wax for my dry skin treatment. Fifteen days after placing the on-line order, I received a jar. I slightly opened the jar and saw white viscose. I used one finger touched a drop, found it was like super glue that couldn’t wash off. I had no choice but cut off the long nail and use water, soap and brush to wash repeatedly, it still stuck to the fingertip and even stuck to the other fingertip. The so-called paraffin wax that Distacard sold for $35+ is white viscose, not wax blocks or beads. It will damage your skin like damaging my nail and fingertips. If it is poured into a paraffin wax machine, the machine might never be used again.
I sent messages telling Destacart the situation, requested to return and give my money back. They changed the names everyday to reply my message, and kept asking me to wait. After waiting and sending messages back and forth, I requested them to provide their return address, and I would send it back at my own expenses but refund my money. They did not let return, but offered 50% gift certificate. I rejected the offer, told them I would never buy anything from them or deal with them anymore and I would tell my credit card company to cancel the payment. They again told me to wait…
Distacart is not with Amazon, they might be not qualified.
Please don't buy anything from Distacart! My bad experience is too much, and I do not want anyone else experience the same.
