Best Way to lose a customer

This review pertains to my purchasing experience on Distacart. When I went to make a purchase, the banner on the site informed me of current rakhi promotion which would get me up to $20 if I purchase items worth a certain $amount. After doing everything right and adding items to the cart and applying the promo code, I got the message the promo code was incorrect. I went ahead with the order and sent a message to Distacart informing them of this issue. They promised to investigate. Finally they informed me that the promo had expired, even though they were still advertising it on their website. When I pointed out the face that they were still advertising it, they never responded. What a great way to deceive customers into paying more than double the price on items while lurring them into fake promos which will never work. sorry distacart, I liked your concept but the execution is purely terrible.
