IKAI Organic Maize/Makai Atta
About the Product:- Our Organic Maka/Maize Flour is prepared by coarsely grounding dried maize. The process ensures that a part of the husk and germ is retained in the atta, making it richer in nutrients. This atta is used to make the famous makki rotis, which are had with sarson saag, or any other seasonal winter vegetables with dollops of home made butter for a wholesome meal.
- Why eat it?
- Yellowish in color, with distinct flavor and texture, this Atta is naturally Gluten free. It is rich in antioxidants and minerals and a good source of fiber. Maize flour is not to be confused with corn starch, the thickening agent in most soups, though it can act as a thickening agent in vegetables and curries.
