The Little Millet Khichdi Mix brings a twist by replacing the starchy grains with fiber-rich millets. Ingredients:

Little Millet, Moong Dal, Cashews, Cumin, Pepper, Asafoetida, Sesame Oil, Dry Ginger, Garlic, Curry leaves, and Salt.

Preparation:

Add MagicBeans Little Millet Khichdi/ Pongal Mix and water in a 1:4 ratio in a saucepan and bring to boil on a medium heat/flame until most of the water is absorbed and the mix turns viscous.
If you choose to cook in a pressure cooker, cook on a medium flame for 15 minutes (3 whistles).
Add a dash of salt to taste.
Add Tomatoes, Carrots, and Beans if you choose to make Khichdi.
For Pongal, serve hot with Coconut chutney, Tomato chutney, or Sambar.
