In Ayurveda, tinospora or guduchi is considered to be a very valuable herb and is used in various generic formulations. The study has also shown anti-high blood sugar patient's potential through its action of mitigating oxidative stress (os), promoting pancreatic secretions and also by inhibiting gluconeogenesis and glycogenolysis, thereby regulating blood glucose.
