Yeshua! : A novel on Jesus of Nazareth by Edmund Jonah - Om Books

About the Book :YESHUA! A novel on Jesus of Nazareth is an imaginative but entirely believable recreation of the life of Jesus (Yeshua), from a new and unique perspective, placing the charismatic preacher in the political context of that turbulent time when Messiahs sprouted like mushrooms after rain! This extraordinary tale holds many surprises. We meet, on terms of great intimacy, the people who fashioned his mind and personality, or paved the road he walked.

About the Author :Edmund Jonah was born in Calcutta (now Kolkata), India, the second of the two sons of parents of Iraqi Jewish origin. His early memories are of his mother reading stories to him and his brother. Edmund has always loved writing and won every prize for English composition and literature in school. He moved to England at 22. Ten years later, he immigrated to Israel with his wife and seven-month-old daughter. The couple had two sons in Israel. After the 1973 war, he has devoted most of his time to writing. He has published stories and essays on the Internet, and all over the world, including the UK, USA, India, New Zealand, Canada, where the Horizon magazine published about 20 of his stories. He has also been published in anthologies in the USA and Israel.
