For DIY Skin Care. External Use Only. Recommended usage is 0.5% - 2%. It should never be used more than 2%.
Salicylic acid is indeed a keratolytic agent, which means it helps to exfoliate the skin by loosening and shedding dead skin cells.
Salicylic acid powder can indeed be used as an exfoliant to help unclog pores and reduce blackheads. Its ability to penetrate into the pores allows it to effectively dissolve the bonds between dead skin cells, helping to loosen and remove them from the surface of the skin.
