This payasam is more popular in Kerala temples. This payasam is prepared using Kerala raw rice that looks light pink in color. It is called as Unakalari (Payasam Rice) in Malayalam. Enjoy the traditional payasam with family and friends on occasions or whenever you want.

Ingredients:

Jaggery, Payasam Rice, Ghee, Coconut flakes, Cardamom, Cumin

Method of preparation:

Boil 100ml (1/2 cup ) of water in a wide mouth thick bottom vessel. Empty the contents into the boiling water, stir continuously and cook on low to medium flame for 5 min till the desired consistency is reached .Delicious Kadum Payasam (Sarkkara payasam) is ready to serve.
