Description

Intizar ka Mausam - Parveen Shakir

About The Product:

Intizaar Ka Mausam: Parveen Shakir is a collection of her selected works, which includes not only ghazals but also selected Nazms. These clearly portray delicate inner emotions, feminine sentiments, pain, romance, and, at places, an expression of indifference toward love and its attainments. For admirers of Parveen Shakir, this book is a priceless gift. Parveen Shakir was born on 24 November 1952 in Karachi. Her ancestral home is Laheriasarai in Bihar. She is counted among the distinguished poets of Urdu. Her first book “Khushbu” brought her immense fame. Her poetry beautifully reflects feminine emotions, love, romance, pain, and subtle feelings. Along with ghazal, Parveen Shakir also wrote free verse. She received several awards, including the Adamjee Award. Sadly, she passed away in a road accident in 1994, but her poetic legacy remains alive in the hearts of readers.
