Magicbeans Ragi Poha Millet (Finger Millet Flakes): 250 gm
Light and dry beaten Ragi millets as flakes are perfect to absorb water and other flavors mixed with them to transform into a delicious, fluffy light meal that’s great for a calorie-light healthy course.
Ingredients:
Ragi millet, Cashews, Cumin, Pepper, Asafoetida, Sesame Oil, Dry Ginger, Garlic, Curry leaves, and Salt.
Preparation:
- 1. In 4 cups of water, dissolve 1 tsp of salt.
- 2. Add 2 cups Magic Beans Ragi millet Poha and let them soak for 10 minutes. Wash, drain and keep the Poha aside in a colander for 30 mins.
- 3. Gently squeeze the flakes to get rid of the excess water.
- 4. Add turmeric powder, salt (to taste) and mix thoroughly.
- 5. In a pan, heat oil, sauté mustard seeds, asafoetida, green chillies, peanuts and curry leaves.
- 6. Add the Poha in the pan on low flame and toss it well.
- 7. After 5 minutes switch off the heat and add a dash of lemon juice and mix thoroughly.
- 8. Keep covered for 10 mins.
- 9. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot .
