xAmaravati Stories
All the stories are short and sweet. Story titles are succinct and give the gist of the story. An interesting fact is that the pictures adjacent to the titles were drawn by none other than famous Indian director Bapu gaaru. The pictures tell the story! I was inspired to read this book after a recommendation from guruji Trivikram Srinivas on a number of occasions in his speeches. I speak Telugu but I hardly can manage reading it. Despite the fact, I still am able to read the stories and thoroughly enjoy each and every story. You can imagine how much I was inspired to read the book even though I can't read Telugu that well. I highly recommend this book to all the Telugu language admirers. I am learning a lot of new Telugu words which we don't use that often in everyday use in contemporary society. All the characters in this book are based in Amaravati. It is such a treat to get the native feel of a village while reading the book. Thanks to Satyam Shankaramanchi, the author, for drafting such lovely stories. Without mentioning him my review would be incomplete
