Telagapindi is nothing but a powder of sesame oil cake. At Mesmara we use cleaned white sesame seeds to extract oil using our wooden press, the oil cake is then sun-dried, pulverized and hygienically packed.
In some parts, Telagapindi (Defatted sesame flour) is widely used in cooking and also given to lactating mothers for its rich source of lignans (glucosides of sesaminol and sesamolinol).
It also contains valuable compounds such as proteins, minerals, dietary fibers, and vitamins.
