After delivery the new mother may face multiple health issues and need proper care to cope up with the stress of giving birth to a new born. Jaggery is known to improve the milk production in new mothers. So regular intake of jaggery may help in breast feeding. Often referred as Superfood Sweetener, jaggery is rich in iron, glucose and fructose. It is known to flush out toxins from the blood.

Shalparni:

Shalparni

Known as Sal Leaved Desmodium in English, this medicinal herb is antipyretic, antiseptic and anti-inflammatory in nature. Shalparni may help in healing wounds and reducing infections. Th8s herb is also known to improve the digestive fire and hence may prevent nausea and vomiting.

Prisniparni:

Prisniparni

Asthma, vomiting, skin disease, burning sensation or fever, prisniparni herb is known to be effective in all these health issues. This small medicinal plant is aphrodisiac, anti-inflammatory and analgesic in nature.

Each 10ml of the Baidyanath Balant Kadha No. 1, 2 and 3contains

  • Coral swirl
  • Malabar nut
  • Poison berry
  • Puncture vine
  • Pointed gourd
  • Himalayan cedar
  • Sage glory bower
  • Thorny nightshade
  • Indian trumpet tree

Health Benefits:

So when should one take each of these herbal tonics and what are the benefits? While the common benefit of all these three type of Kadha is to help the new mother cope with the fatigue and pain of delivery, each Kadha should be given during a specified time span after delivery. This set of herbal tonic regulates the female hormones and restores the strength and energy after delivery.

Baidyanath Balant Kadha No. 1 can be taken right after delivery. It should be taken for the first 10 days. This kadha is known to improve the body immunity against health issues like cough and cold.

This Kadha also acts as an anti-inflammatory and pain relief. It may help the mother get some respite from the pain and swelling caused due to bleeding and lactation.

Baidyanath Balant Kadha No. 2 is usually given from the 11th day of the delivery. This health tonic may provide strength to the mother and also offer some relief from post-delivery health issues like constipation.

This Kadha is known to add nutrition to mother’s milk and hence is also beneficial to the new born.

Baidyanath Balant Kadha No. 3 is given from the twenty first day of the delivery. This health tonic can help the new mothers recover from weakness and post-delivery health issues like constipation.

Direction to Use:

Hello doctor,
Its been 45 days for my delivery . I startes balant khada course after 18 thrd day of my delivery. Mine was preterm delivery in 6.5 months . I lost my baby 29 days afrer delivery. I have completed taking balant khada 1&2 . Is it reqd for me to continue taking it now . Its been 15 days i lost my baby . What is the benefit of it for me now
