Hi I'm more than disappointed with the service...I can't comment on the product since it was returned to yourselves on Friday the 15th, by FedEx the courier company, because of your failure to pay the customs duties and taxes. You were very diligent in sending emails after shipping the parcel, telling me that I had fully paid for the product and incase the shipping partner asks me to pay for these duties, I must forward that to yourselves. Well the product arrived and your shipping partner asked me to pay for those services, and I refused and then contacted your "Distacart happiness team" about it". They apologized for the inconvenience and said they would make the required payment. Well its been back and forth emails eversince, during which they asked that I send them a payment link from FedEx since they don't use an invoice for payment. I asked for the link and sent it to them. Then they were quiet for some days until FedEx informed me the payment period had expired and they'd actually given a 2 days extension, so they had to return the parcel to yourselves. On Friday morning the 15th they sent an email to yourselves to say they were returning the parcel (RTS). I then sent an email to your team to say now that the parcel is on its way back to you, please could you then refund me the money I spent for the product, and included my banking details. After that I received an email back saying I must pay the duties, then share the receipt, then send the Audumo link for them to refund me. This drove me mad...come on guys, what duties to pay now because you didn't pay when I sent you the first link?Now that the parcel has been returned you're asking for this Audumo link...what's really going on here? All I want is a refund of my money and just to forget about this bad experience....please!
We apologize for the inconvenience caused. It's our responsibility to ensure they deliver the shipment to your doorsteps. The duties payment is our responsibility. For paying the same, we need a secured international payment link which will be shared with the customer, on request, by the carrier. As we did not get the needed link, we were unable to make the payment. We have asked our logistics team to get the duties billed to our seller's account, stop the RTS, and deliver the package.
