When I ordered online, it was mentioned on the website that no extra duty fees would need to be paid to receive the order. After a few days of placing the order, I received a tracking link from DHL which mentioned that I'd have to pay the custom duty fees when I received the order. When I reached out to the customer support, they told me that it was the company who would clear that, but for some reason I was expected to reach out to them to let them know that they have to pay. I got the order before I could share further details with them to complete the payment and then had to do the payment myself. I did get reimbursed for the payment I did to DHL, but if I had not reached out to the customer support I would never have known how to proceed ahead. This is the second time it happened, which has essentially made me lose all trust in the order fulfillment process and I'm very less likely to order from Distacart again.
